Ingredients

Instructions

  • Line a 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper but let the paper come up above the pan so you can easily pull the bars out of the pan,. and grease it with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pull out about ¼ cup of the marshmallows from the cereal. You will add this to the top of the bars.
  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and smooth. Remove the pan from heat.
  • Add Lucky Charms cereal to the melted marshmallows and stir well until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Spread the mixture into an even layer using a greased spoon or spatula. Scatter the remaining marshmallows over the cereal gently pressing them into the top of the bars.
  • Let the bars cool down and set (about 30 minutes to an hour.) Pull bars out of the pan by lifting up the parchment paper, then cut the bars into even pieces.
  • If using a white chocolate bar, break the bar up into smaller pieces. Do the same if you are using almond bark, this will help the chocolate melt more evenly. Add the chocolate to a medium-sized microwavable bowl.
  • Melt the chocolate in 30 second increments in the microwave, stirring between every 30 second increment. Continue until fully melted.
Dip the bottoms of the bars into the chocolate, making sure to come up the sides of the bars just a bit so you can see it from the sides of the bars, then sit the bars on a sheet of wax paper to harden.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container for up to five days. Or freeze for later.

Notes
