This vanilla latte is made with espresso or strong coffee, vanilla syrup, and hot milk with foam on top. It comes together fast with basic tools, and you can adjust the sweetness and strength to your taste. Finish with whipped cream if you want a coffee shop style mug at home.
Warm the milk until steaming but not boiling by microwaving it for about 2 minutes, or until hot. You can also heat the milk on the stove, or a milk frother if it heats milk.2 cups milk
Froth the milk with a milk frother until doubled and airy.
Stir the vanilla syrup into a mug with the espresso.2 shots espresso
Pour the hot milk in your coffee cup first, reserving the foam.
Top off with foam.
Top with whipped cream if using.

How to make Strong Brewed Coffee for Lattes Makes about 2 latte
1/2 cup coarsely ground coffee
2 cups hot water
This is roughly twice as strong as standard brewed coffee, so the flavor hold up once milk is added.How to make it:
Add the ground coffee to a French press or coffee maker.
Pour in 2 cups hot water.
Brew as usual, then press or strain.
Use 1/2 cup brewed coffee per latte in place 0f expresso
Storage:Let the coffee cool, then store it in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.If you’re used to measuring by tablespoons, this works out to about 8 tablespoons of ground coffee per cup of water.
