  2. The roast and hummus caught my eye immediately, but I am impressed to see so many treats ideas with sweet potato! I will have to try some of them! Great collection!

  3. I love sweet potatoes and prefer them savory. I remember the first time I ever tasted them was at a Thanksgiving dinner shortly after my arrival in the USA. They were filled with marshmallows and candied nuts and they were just too sweet. Only later did I discover how delicious they can be when prepared without added sugar. My favorite way is roasting sliced sweet potatoes with salt, pepper, and a very generous sprinkling or fresh or dried marjoram.

    1. Yes, for years that sweet potato recipe with the marshmallow was the go-to recipe for the holidays. I still love it but I have gone to the savory side now in my sweet potato recipes.
