Sacramento neighborhoods have some amazing coffee shops all offering something just a little bit different than the next, which is why I love visiting them. Each has a specialty. Because I enjoy the local coffee scene I thought I would share with the One Hot Oven readers - Sacramento Coffee and Tea: Chocolate Fish - so you can find and experience great coffee and tea.

Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters in Sacramento
One of my favorite coffee houses in Sacramento is Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters. The gracious owners Andie and Edie Baker, are dedicated to their craft of in-house coffee roasting and have developed a reputation for its relaxed atmosphere and its distinctive menu.
The Flat White
Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters makes a velvety smooth flat white which I highly recommend. With its creamy microfoam and a shot of espresso, this coffee is one to sip and savor. These flat whites are the perfect ratio of coffee and foam, so the coffee flavor stands out. Seriously, Chocolate Fish makes the best Flat White around.
Nitro Coffee
Want something cold to drink? Try a Nitro Coffee, also known as Morning Beer. There is a bit of theatrics with pouring this coffee. Yes, it is served on tap in a tulip cup. This nitrogen-infused coffee has a creamy, velvety head yet has no cream in it, then it offers a bit of sweetness, mild carbonation, and a mild caramel flavor. It looks like a stout beer, but Nitro Coffee is a delightful and unusual coffee drink perfect for a warm California Day.
Chocolate Fish Coffeehouse offers a relaxing place to sit and enjoy your drink inside and out. The baristas are extremely knowledgeable and are quite fun to engage in conversation. By the time you leave, you will be very educated on coffee.
