Sacramento Coffee and Tea: The Series is at The Mill Coffee Shop.  When I heard The Mill has a new featured coffee I made a mad dash over to find out what it is.  Admittedly, I felt a bit weepy when I found out The Wildwood Flower Latte had been replaced.  I must move on though and The Mills new feature, the Winter Spice Latte, is perfect for a cool fall day especially if you love nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.

I love the Mill for its minimalist decor, it is very calming.  The seating is open and inviting and offers plenty of space to sit and sip your coffee or tea. The back patio is also a favorite place to sit and enjoy a drink, you can listen to music. enjoy the plants and fresh air.

What this Mill has to offer is some of the best coffee in town, serving Heart Coffee from Portland in a variety of drinks.  I love a  filtered coffee that lets you really taste the fruitiness of the coffee and The Mills coffee offers a flavorful and smooth cup.

The menu at The Mill is simple but offers some well thought out drinks. Try a Vanilla Bean Latte,   Spiced Chai Latte, or the Almond Macadamia; all are exceptional. I must say the Mocha with Ginger Elizabeth chocolate is a favorite.

Need an afternoon pick-me-up, try the Cortado, with The Mills smooth espresso and milk.

Not into coffee, they have it covered with tea from Leaves and Flowers, Shrub Sodas and Draft Kombucha.

Do you like waffles?  Have you noticed my pictures always have a waffle in them?  The last time I was at The Mills I told myself no waffles this time.  Ha! I ordered my latte sat down to drink it and realized I really wanted a waffle. Sweet warm waffles served with powdered sugar, honey butter, maple syrup or jam are all a special treat with coffee or tea.
