Time to start baking Christmas cookies! I’ve applied a “12 Days of Christmas Cookies” theme to holiday baking this year to help you easily pick cookies for this year’s cookie platters, cookie exchanges, gift-giving, and something for Santa!

One of my favorite things to do around the holidays is to bake Christmas cookies and other delicious treats for my family and friends to enjoy. There’s just something about cold (snowy?) days outside and warm, cozy days inside baking goodies that make it feel like Christmas for me.

Extra points if you listen to Christmas music while you bake!

12 Days of Christmas Cookies

If you do a search on the internet for the best Christmas cookies, you will receive 1,000 times the number of recipes you could even realistically consider making! That one simple search can be enough to make you consider not even baking this year.

That’s why I decided to take the theme of 12 Days of Christmas and apply it to Christmas cookies. Twelve – and only 12 – delicious, tried and true Christmas cookie recipes for you to love.

If you’re looking for a new favorite cookie recipe to make this year, you can’t go wrong with any recipe on this list!
